A new book from Lisa Herrin.
Lisa was widowed for three years when she met and married Robert who was also widowed. They've been married for twelve years. Together they pastor a thriving church in Plant City, Florida.
She is the mother of one grown son, Joe, and two stepchildren, Latese (married to Philip) and Torrey (married to Polly). She is also the proud grandmother of three adorable grandchildren Noah 10, Karson 5, and Schaunie 5 who refer to her as Nana Lisa.
Lisa is the author of Life Interrupted: Encountering the Unexpected which discusses interruptions from irritating to devastating. She says, "Sometimes, we believe we've figured out our day, our month, our year but life throws us a curve and we must re-evaluate."
In addition to pastoring, Lisa and Robert share in a ministry called Hearts 2 Home -- a ministry designed to bring healing to the broken hearted. Both widowed at early ages, they understand the devastation of loss and the need to bring healing to the hurting. Partnering with Intimate Life Ministries out of Austin, Texas, they conduct marriage and relationship seminars to bring wholeness to the family.
